This expressive watercolour by Swedish artist Lars Herder (1923-1976) depicts an eclectic interior with sofa, light and various artworks. It’s probably his own home and full of spirit.
Herder studied in Gothenburg and Copenhagen but spent many years in Helsingborg. Alongside his painting, he was also an accomplished violinist.
He exhibited regularly including at several museums.
