This mid-century still life by Swedish artist Igge Karlsson depicts a table with various ceramics and a branch of blossom from a flowering crabapple tree. It’s a highly decorative arrangement.
Karlsson trained at the Royal College of Art and the Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm. He’s represented in several museums including the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, the Malmö konstmuseum, the Sundsvalls museum and the Göteborgs konstmuseum.
